American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic won against Italian Mattia Bellucci 7-5, 7-6 (5) to move into the quarter-finals of the Montpellier Open at the Sud de France Arena.
Kovacevic, ranked No 102, will play Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 4 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Montpellier tournament, the American edged out Belgian David Goffin, the No 6 seed (6-2, 3-6, 6-4).
Bellucci, ranked No 98, defeated Frenchman Lucas Pouille (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Montpellier tournament.
