Monte-Carlo Masters: Wild card Sonego books spot in second round, faces Medvedev next

Italian wildcard Lorenzo Sonego edged out French qualifier Ugo Humbert 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Tuesday.

Sonego, ranked No 45, will play No 3 seed Daniil Medvedev next.
