Monte-Carlo Masters: Nardi moves into second round

Italian qualifier Luca Nardi advanced to the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters by winning against Monégasque wildcard Valentin Vacherot 7-5, 7-5 at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Tuesday.

Nardi, ranked No 159, will face the winner of the match between Serb Miomir Kecmanovic and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 16 seed, next.
