Monte-Carlo Masters: De Minaur dismantles former champion Wawrinka to make second round

Alex De Minaur, the No 11 seed, moved into the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters by comprehensively outplaying Swiss wildcard, and former champion, Stan Wawrinka 6-3, 6-0 at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

The Australian is now the fourth player to reach 20 wins for the season as he carries his fine form into the European clay-court swing.

De Minaur, ranked No 11, will face Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor next.
