Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo defeated No 11 seed Cameron Norrie 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Monday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 33, will face the winner of the match between American Maxime Cressy and Italian Matteo Berrettini next.
