Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi advanced to the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters by winning against Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-1, 7-5 at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Monday.
Bonzi, ranked No 50, will play second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas next.
