Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp reached the second round of the Miami Masters by winning against Australian Rinky Hijikata 7-5, 7-6 (3) at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 77, will play No 14 seed Ugo Humbert next.
