Jannik Sinner powers Past Djere to reach third round in Miami

Italian Jannik Sinner, the No 10 seed, reached the third round of the Miami Masters by winning against Serb Laslo Djere 6-4, 6-2 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday.
Sinner, ranked No 11, will face the winner of the match between German qualifier Jan-Lennard Struff and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 21 seed, next.
Sinner is now 47-3 against players ranked outside of the Top 50 since the start of 2022 and 13-0 against them this season (29-2 in sets after defeating Fucsovics at 2023 Australian Open third round in five sets).
Djere, ranked No 58, beat Australian qualifier Aleksandar Vukic (6-2, 7-6 (3)) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
