Denis Shapovalov edged out Luciano Darderi 6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will face No 10 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the next round

Canadian Denis Shapovalov advanced to the second round of the Miami Masters by edging out Italian Luciano Darderi 6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-4 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Shapovalov, ranked No 126, will face No 10 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas next.
