Michelsen becomes youngest American to win in Miami since 2017

American Alex Michelsen beat Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein 7-6 (5), 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old becomes the youngest American to win a match at the Miami Open since 2017, when Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe both won.
Michelsen, ranked No 73, will play No 25 seed Tallon Griekspoor next.
