Alert: Miami Masters: Medvedev tops Sinner for fifth Masters crown

Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 4 seed, won the Miami Masters tournament by defeating Italian Jannik Sinner, the No 10 seed, 7-5, 6-3 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday evening.
In the previous rounds of the Miami Open, Medvedev, ranked No 5, beat Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (6-1, 6-2), Slovak Alex Molcan (W/O), Frenchman Quentin Halys (6-4, 6-2), American qualifier Christopher Eubanks (6-3, 7-5) and No 14 seed Karen Khachanov (7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-3).
Sinner, ranked No 11, beat Serb Laslo Djere (6-4, 6-2), Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 21 seed (6-3, 6-4), Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 6 seed (6-2, 6-4), Finn Emil Ruusuvuori (6-3, 6-1) and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed (6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
