Frenchman Adrian Mannarino won against Chinese wildcard Juncheng Shang 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 to reach the second round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday.
Mannarino, ranked No 62, will face No 32 seed Ben Shelton next.
