Miami Masters: Koepfer through to second round

German Dominik Koepfer advanced to the second round of the Miami Masters by edging out American Marcos Giron 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday night.

Koepfer, ranked No 50, will face No 18 seed Sebastian Baez next.
