Miami Masters: Diallo impresses en route to second round

Canadian lucky loser Gabriel Diallo reached the second round of the Miami Masters by winning against Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-3, 6-0 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday.

Diallo gained his place in the main draw at the last minute courtesy of Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor withdrawing.

Diallo, ranked No 87, will face No 17 seed Arthur Fils next.
