Ymer capitalizes on lucky loser spot in Acapulco, advances to second round
Elias Ymer beat Adrian Mannarino in three sets on Tuesday in Acapulco.
Lucky loser Elias Ymer battled past Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Mexican Open at the Princess Mundo Imperial in Acapulco on Tuesay night.
Ymer, ranked No 170, will play Italian Matteo Berrettini next. The Swede got a spot in the main draw when Cameron Norrie withdrew following his title in Rio de Janeiro.
