Mexican Open: Paul moves into second round
Tommy Paul won against Emilio Gomez 6-1, 7-6 (4) on Monday and will face Michael Mmoh in the next round
American Tommy Paul, the No 7 seed, advanced to the second round of the Mexican Open by winning against Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez 6-1, 7-6 (4) at the Princess Mundo Imperial in Acapulco on Monday.
Paul, ranked No 23, will play Michael Mmoh next.
