Berrettini gets retirement from Molcan in Acapulco round
Matteo Berrettini benefitted from the retirement of Alex Molcan on Tuesday night. The Italian had not lost a single game when it ended.

Matteo Berrettini reached the second round of the Mexican Open when Slovak Alex Molcan retired on Tuesday night at the Princess Mundo Imperial in Acapulco.
Berrettini, ranked No 24, led 6-0, 1-0 when Molcan, ranked No 57, called it quits.
The Italian will face the winner of the match between Swede lucky loser Elias Ymer and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino next.
