Mexican Open: Altmaier fails to back up Zverev win, falls to Kecmanovic

Serb Miomir Kecmanovic advanced to the quarter-finals of the Mexican Open by beating German Daniel Altmaier 6-4, 6-4 at the Princess Mundo Imperial Resort in Acapulco on Wednesday night.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 53, will play Jack Draper next.
In the previous round of the Acapulco tournament, the Serb won against Argentinian wildcard Diego Schwartzman (4-6, 6-3, 6-1).
Altmaier, ranked No 57, won against top seed Alexander Zverev (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Acapulco tournament.
