Moutet finishing season strong, books Matz Open quarter-final
Corentin Moutet beat Jan-Lennard Struff 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-3 on Tuesday evening and will face Russian Andrey Rublev, the top seed, in the next round

Frenchman Corentin Moutet reached the quarter-finals of the Metz Open by defeating German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 7 seed, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-3 at the Arènes de Metz on Tuesday evening.
Moutet, ranked No 66, will play Russian Andrey Rublev, the top seed, next.
The Frenchman benefited from the abandonment of Indian Sumit Nagal (7-5, 4-0) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Metz tournament, Struff, ranked No 40, edged out Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
