Metz Open: Moutet advances to second round after Nagal retirement
Corentin Moutet benefited from the abandonment of Sumit Nagal (7-5, 4-0) on Sunday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko and German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Frenchman Corentin Moutet advanced to the second round of the Metz Open when Indian Sumit Nagal retired at the Arènes de Metz on Sunday.
Moutet, ranked No 70, led 7-5, 4-0 when Nagal, ranked No 84, pulled out on Sunday afternoon at the Arènes de Metz.
The Frenchman will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko and German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 7 seed, next.
