Metz Open: Khachanov into last 8
Karen Khachanov won against Constant Lestienne 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday night and will face the winner of the match between Hungarian lucky loser Mate Valkusz and Russian Alexander Shevchenko in the next round

Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last eight of the Metz Open by winning against Frenchman Constant Lestienne 6-4, 6-4 at Arènes de Metz on Tuesday night.
Khachanov, ranked No 15, will play the winner of the match between Hungarian lucky loser Mate Valkusz and Russian Alexander Shevchenko next.
In the previous round of the Metz tournament, Lestienne, ranked No 90, defeated qualifier Calvin Hemery (6-3, 6-2).
