No 2 seed Ruud stunned by qualifier Bonzi in Metz
Benjamin Bonzi beat Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will play qualifier Quentin Halys in the next round

French qualifier Benjamin Bonzi beat Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed, 6-4, 6-4 to move into the quarter-finals of the Metz Open at the Arènes de Metz on Wednesday evening.
Bonzi, ranked No 124, will play qualifier Quentin Halys next.
In the previous round of the Metz tournament, the Frenchman won against Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut (7-6 (3), 6-3).
