Swede Mikael Ymer defeated Radu Albot 6-3, 7-6 (5) to advance to the second round of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports de Marseille on Wednesday.
Ymer, ranked No 69, will play Belgian David Goffin, the No 6 seed, next.
