German Jan-Lennard Struff won against French lucky loser Manuel Guinard 7-5, 7-6 (4) to move into the second round of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports on Tuesday evening.
Struff, ranked No 46, will face the winner of the match between qualifier Hugo Grenier and qualifier Arthur Gea next.
