Marseille Open: Sonego books spot in second round

Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 7 seed, reached the second round of the Marseille Open by winning against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at the Palais des sports on Monday.

Sonego, ranked No 35, will play the winner of the match between lucky loser Luca Van Assche and Benjamin Bonzi next.
