Marseille Open: Hurkacz eases past Shevchenko to reach quarter-finals

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the top seed, beat Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports.
Hurkacz, ranked No 8, will play Tomas Machac next.
Shevchenko, ranked No 56, won against French wildcard Benjamin Bonzi (7-6 (4), 6-4) in the previous round of the Marseille tournament.
