Marseille Open: Hurkacz advances to semi-finals
Hubert Hurkacz defeated Tomas Machac 6-3, 6-4 on Friday evening. He’ll play Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 4 seed, in the next round

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the top seed, won against Tomas Machac 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the semi-finals of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports on Friday evening.
Hurkacz, ranked No 8, will face Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 4 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Marseille tournament, the Pole beat Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko (6-1, 6-4).
Machac, ranked No 66, defeated Andy Murray (7-5, 6-4) and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
