Belgian Zizou Bergs reached the last eight of the Marseille Open by winning against Portuguese Nuno Borges, the No 8 seed, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-2 at the Palais des sports.

Bergs, ranked No 62, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Zhizhen Zhang and Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 4 seed, next.

The Belgian beat French qualifier Clement Chidekh (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Marseille tournament.
