Spaniard Jaume Munar won against Moroccan wildcard Elliot Benchetrit 6-4, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Marrakech Open at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Monday evening.
Munar, ranked No 83, will play the winner of the match between Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 8 seed, and Italian qualifier Andrea Vavassori next.
