Spaniard Jaume Munar moved into the second round of the Marrakech Open by beating Frenchman Luca Van Assche 7-6 (3), 6-2 at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Monday afternoon.
Munar, ranked No 73, will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko, the No 6 seed, and Italian Matteo Berrettini next.
