American qualifier Nicolas Moreno De Alboran beat Argentinian Facundo Diaz Acosta, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Marrakech Open at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Tuesday.
Moreno De Alboran, ranked No 157, will face the winner of the match between Belgian qualifier David Goffin and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech next.
