Frenchman Hugo Gaston edged out German Jan-Lennard Struff 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 to reach the second round of the Marrakech Open at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Monday afternoon.
Gaston, ranked No 104, will face top seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
