Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko won against French qualifier Constant Lestienne 7-5, 7-6 (5) to move into the second round of the Mallorca Open at Mallorca Country Club.
Shevchenko, ranked No 58, will face No 4 seed Alejandro Tabilo next.
