Austrian Sebastian Ofner advanced to the second round of the Mallorca Open by edging out Spaniard Jaume Munar 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (4) at Mallorca Country Club.

Ofner, ranked No 54, will face Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 5 seed, next.
