Frenchman Constant Lestienne reached the second round of the Mallorca Open by edging out Australian Jason Kubler 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at Mallorca Country Club on Tuesday.
Lestienne, ranked No 73, will face French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech next.
