Mallorca Open: Jubb stuns Shelton to reach semi-finals

Qualifier Paul Jubb moved into the last four of the Mallorca Open by edging out American Ben Shelton, the top seed, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (8) at Mallorca Country Club.
Jubb, ranked No 289, will play Austrian Sebastian Ofner next.
In the previous rounds of the Mallorca tournament, Paul Jubb defeated German qualifier Maximilian Marterer (6-1, 6-2) and Australian qualifier Adam Walton (6-0, 6-3).
Shelton, ranked No 14, won against Australian Rinky Hijikata (6-4, 6-0) in the previous round of the Mallorca tournament.
