Mallorca Open: Harris moves into last four

South African qualifier Lloyd Harris advanced to the last 4 of the Mallorca Open by winning against Russian lucky loser Pavel Kotov 7-5, 6-2 at Mallorca Country Club on Thursday.
Harris, ranked No 298, will play the winner of the match between French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech and American Christopher Eubanks next.

The South African defeated Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles, the No 7 seed (6-2, 7-6 (2)) and Russian qualifier Roman Safiullin (7-6 (5), 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Mallorca tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Kotov, ranked No 116, won against Australian qualifier Li Tu (7-6 (4), 6-3) and edged out Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the second seed (2-6, 6-3, 6-4).
