German Yannick Hanfmann reached the quarter-finals of the Mallorca Open by beating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the top seed, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 at Mallorca Country Club.
Hanfmann, ranked No 48, will play the winner of the match between Spanish wildcard Feliciano López and Australian Jordan Thompson next.
The German won against Argentinian Pedro Cachin (6-2, 6-1) in the previous round of the Mallorca tournament.
