Madrid Masters: Paul makes third round
Tommy Paul edged out Lukas Klein 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-4 on Friday and will play Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 21 seed, in the next round

American Tommy Paul, the No 15 seed, moved into the third round of the Madrid Masters by edging out Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-4 at the Caja Magica on Friday.
Paul, ranked No 16, will play Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 21 seed, next.
Klein, ranked No 120, edged out Spanish qualifier Pablo Llamas Ruiz (6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (4)) in the previous round of the Madrid tournament.
