Madrid Masters: In-form Lajovic advances to third round
Dusan Lajovic edged out Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (5) on Saturday afternoon and will play German lucky loser Jan-Lennard Struff in the next round
Serb Dusan Lajovic reached the third round of the Madrid Masters by edging out Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 7 seed, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (5) at the Caja Magica on Saturday afternoon.
Lajovic, ranked No 40, will play German lucky loser Jan-Lennard Struff next.
The Serb won against Australian Jason Kubler (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Madrid tournament.
