Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech won against South African qualifier Lloyd Harris 6-4, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Lyon Open at Parc de la Tête d’or on Monday.
Rinderknech, ranked No 78, will play American Brandon Nakashima, the No 8 seed, next.
