Lyon Open: Gaston gets past Cerundolo in second round
Hugo Gaston upset Francisco Cerundolo in three sets on Wednesday in Lyon. Gaston will face French wildcard Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

French qualifier Hugo Gaston knocked off Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Lyon Open at Parc de la Tête d’or on Wednesday night.
Gaston, ranked No 104, will face French wildcard Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard on Thursday.
Ahead of his victory, Gaston defeated Colombian qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan (7-6 (2), 7-6 (4)).
