Lyon Open: Darderi moves into second round

Italian Luciano Darderi won against Japanese qualifier Taro Daniel 7-5, 7-6 (3) to move into the second round of the Lyon Open at Parc de la Tête d’or on Tuesday afternoon.

Darderi, ranked No 47, will play No 3 seed Adrian Mannarino next.
