Lyon Open: Cerundolo stuns defending champion Norrie to reach final
Francisco Cerundolo won against Cameron Norrie 6-3, 6-0 on Friday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Arthur Fils and American Brandon Nakashima, the No 8 seed, in the final
Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, advanced to the final of the Lyon Open by defeating second seed Cameron Norrie 6-3, 6-0 at Parc de la Tête d’or on Friday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 28, will face the winner of the match between French wildcard Arthur Fils and American Brandon Nakashima, the No 8 seed, next.

The Argentinian benefited from the abandonment of Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (6-2) and won against Jack Draper (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Lyon tournament, Norrie, ranked No 14, won against Belgian David Goffin (6-3, 6-4) and Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed (6-2, 2-6, 6-1).
