Los Cabos Open: Tirante beats Lama to book spot in second round
Thiago Agustin Tirante won against Gonzalo Lama 7-6 (3), 6-2 and will face the winner of the match between Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 5 seed, and Tunisian qualifier Skander Mansouri in the next round
Argentinian Thiago Agustin Tirante defeated Chilean qualifier Gonzalo Lama 7-6 (3), 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Los Cabos Open at the Cabo del Mar Sports Centre.
Tirante, ranked No 136, will play the winner of the match between Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 5 seed, and Tunisian qualifier Skander Mansouri next.
