Los Cabos Open: Ruud through to quarter-finals
Casper Ruud defeated Marcos Giron 6-1, 6-0. He’ll face Portuguese Nuno Borges in the next round

Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 4 seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos Open by beating American Marcos Giron 6-1, 6-0 at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Wednesday.
Ruud, ranked No 12, will face Portuguese Nuno Borges next.
In the previous round of the Los Cabos tournament, Giron, ranked No 44, won against Japanese Taro Daniel (6-4, 7-5).
