Los Cabos Open: Ivashka beats Zhukayev in third set tiebreak to reach second round
The Belarusian will play the winner of the match between Croat Borna Gojo and Chilean Cristian Garin in the next round

Belarusian Ilya Ivashka, the No 8 seed, reached the second round of the Los Cabos Open by edging out Kazakh qualifier Beibit Zhukayev 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5) at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Tuesday.
Ivashka, ranked No 113, will face the winner of the match between Croat Borna Gojo and Chilean Cristian Garin next.
