Australian qualifier Rinky Hijikata moved into the second round of the Los Cabos Open when Mexican wildcard Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez retired on Tuesday night at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center.
Hijikata, ranked No 224, led 6-3, 4-0 when Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez, aged 17, pulled out on Tuesday night at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center.
