Los Cabos Open: Giron continues winning form, faces Ruud next

American Marcos Giron reached the second round of the Los Cabos Open by beating Japanese Taro Daniel 6-4, 7-5 at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Tuesday.
The win continues a good run of form for the American, who reached the final in Dallas and then the semi-finals in Delray Beach coming into this week. With today’s win, Giron has now won eight of his last 10 matches on the tour.
The American, ranked No 44, will play No 4 seed Casper Ruud next.
