Los Cabos Open: Evans through to second round after Safiullin upset
Daniel Evans won against Roman Safiullin 6-2, 6-4 on Monday night and will face the winner of the match between Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis and Jack Draper in the next round

Daniel Evans advanced to the second round of the Los Cabos Open by beating Russian Roman Safiullin, the No 5 seed, 6-2, 6-4 at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Monday night.
Evans, ranked No 42, will play the winner of the match between Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis and Jack Draper next.
